The inaugural year of the Pilgrimage Festival was one for the books! With three stages and an A-list lineup that included catalog acts such as Sheryl Crow and Willie Nelson, the buzz leading up to the festival made involvement a hot commodity. Blood:Water was amply represented at the festival with a booth and a Lemon:Aid stand. Plus the festival lineup also included the Hootenanny, a late-night event that benefited Blood:Water and featured an impressive mix of rising artists and well-seasoned veterans, including our co-founders, Jars of Clay!

With the help of our hardworking volunteers, interns, and staff, our involvement was both exciting and educational for all festival goers! Our Lemon:Aid stand was a hot spot for thirsty guests, especially considering it was neighboring the always-entertaining kids stage.

We were blessed to begin the conversation of creating lasting change in Africa with many attendees and artists, and we can’t wait to do it again next year!
