Harmony in Chaos

The senior class at Renaissance High School has been busy working on an incredible project. They created their very own album, Harmony in Chaos!

From writing and producing, to performing the original music and designing the album art, the students have been responsible for every part of the record’s creation. They even researched and selected the organization the record would benefit. (They chose Blood:Water, and we couldn’t be more honored!)

And now, all of their hard work is culminating tomorrow night at their album release party!

According to senior Dylan Childress, the CD has a little something for everyone. From abstract, electronic dance music to smooth jazz and Van Halen-inspired guitar shredding, each of the students’ unique styles are reflected throughout the songs.

I got an early listen yesterday, and it’s super impressive!

So, if you’re in the area, head down to the Franklin Art Crawl tomorrow night, Friday, May 1, to hear the students perform their original songs from Harmony in Chaos! They’ll be at Landmark Booksellers in Franklin (114 E. Main Street) from 6-9 p.m.
