World Water Day

Water you going to do about World Water Day (Sunday, March 22)? May we suggest a little a H2ONLY?

And here’s why:

Gitwa-Nyamifumba—it’s one of the three villages we are working to bring water to this season. So this is a big goal. But how about we do it today?

Let’s just knock it out. It will cost $25,000 to bring a clean water to this village. As someone that got to meet these kids, laugh with them, walk with them, and journey back up the mountain with them, I can think of no better way to celebrate World Water Day. And I can’t wait to show you the day when they receive clean water.

So let’s do it for these children who actually live in Gitwa-Nyamifumb.

So here’s what we are asking you to do. Many of you know that we are in the middle of Save a Drink, Save a Life, where you give up a type of drink each day and donate that money to bring clean water to three villages in southern Rwanda.

We are asking all of you, Save a Drink participants included, to join us to one day of water only on March 22.

And if you already drink only water, keep reading. We think you can help, too.

Take Sunday to be grateful for that water, and donate based off your desire for all people to have the same access to clean water.

So go ahead, set a reminder for Saturday night and Sunday morning! Join us in advocating for clean water for everyone. Or, get a head start here. #worldwaterday
