1000:1000 means one thousand hours for “One Thousand Wells.”

1000-1000-blog

In the one thousand hours surrounding the release of co-founder Jena Lee Nardella’s memoir, “One Thousand Wells,” we have been busy celebrating by providing 800 kids with clean water!

We wanted to do something really special to honor the story of “One Thousand Wells,” as well as our co-founders, Jena and Jars of Clay. But we knew the best way to do that would not be to honor them, but those they’ve loved so well over the last 10 years. So, we’ve been working to provide rain tanks for two schools in Kenya. That will reach 800 kids!

It’s basic math, really:

2 schools + 2 water tanks = 800 kids

We started on August 18, which means our one thousand hours are almost up! Join us by September 28 to help us ensure 800 kids head to school with safe, clean water.

Help us finish strong at bloodwater.org/1000.
