Can you believe that it is already mid-November!? We have had some amazing artists collaborate with us, and some that have even rolled through the Blood:Water office to play a few songs!

From Sandra McCracken and Brady Toops to Greg Holden and Sufjan Stevens to our very own Joey Maloney, we have been enjoying the intersection of music, justice, and philanthropy. BOSE Corp. has given us the gift of a beautiful-sounding PA in the office, and we hope to continue to host great concerts and events that bring old friends in and introduce us to new faces. Music matters in the story of Blood:Water, and so we love being able to bring your attention to great artists and great music!

Be on the lookout for some of our talented friends in the next couple weeks!

Leigh Nash of Sixpence None the Richer has released a beautiful collection of songs, equal parts Texas backroads and Nashville skyline… We all loved Leigh during her time as frontwoman for Sixpence None The Richer, but this new musical path feels less like a departure, and more like a coming home to something deeply familiar. She can sing country!

If you are lucky, you live close enough go out and see her perform along with another one of my musical favorites, Matthew Perryman Jones. I can’t think of a better way to spend an evening than experiencing these two musical masters. Honestly, as the holiday season moves closer and we all start getting too busy to think straight… do yourself a favor and go see them play.

By supporting artists who support Blood:Water, you support Blood:Water!

Here are the details!!

You can thank me later.
